Several Bishop Carroll Catholic High School students have recently won recognition at several Forensics events.

Results from the district tournament in February:
Mitchell Dumm – District Champion, Lincoln-Douglas Debate

Faith Smith – District Champion, Dramatic Interpretation
Blaise Maxey – District Runner-Up, Humour Interpretation
Richard Scholzen – Third Place, Prose
Bridget Waterhouse – Third Place, Declamation
AJ Lubert – Fourth Place, Commentary
Colleen Barnett – Fifth Place, Prose
Shelley Yogus – Sixth Place, Poetry

Regional Tournament results held at Saint Francis in March:
Faith Smith – Regional Runner up in dramatic interpretation

Bridget Waterhouse – Third place – Oratorical Declamation
Richard Scholzen – Fifth Place – Prose
Blaise Mazey – Fifth Place – Dramatic Interpretation
Mitch Dumm – Fifth Place – Lincoln-Douglas Debate

Faith, Mitch, and Bridget all qualified for the national tournament.

All students from the District Tournament qualified for the State Tournament, which was held in late March. The following students placed at the state tournament:
Faith Smith – 4th place in dramatic interpretation
Blaise Mazey – 8th place in humorous interpretation
