Bishop Mark will ordain two priests, a transitional deacon, and a permanent deacon at three ordination Masses over the next several weeks.
On May 15, diocesan seminarian Brian Norris will be ordained a transitional deacon. He is a member of Saint Mary Parish in Hollidaysburg and studying at Saint Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore.
On May 29, the Bishop will ordain Deacons Mark Groeger and Michael Pleva (pictured) to the priesthood. Both in seminary formation at Saint Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, Deacon Groeger belongs to Saint Peter Parish in Somerset; Deacon Pleva is a member of Holy Rosary Parish in Altoona.
On June 5, Mark Komula, will be ordained to the permanent diaconate. He is a parishioner at Saint Peter in Somerset.
