The canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis on April 27 in Rome has been postponed due to the passing of Pope Francis. As a result, a Cresson observance in celebration of the canonization has also been postponed.

The Catholic Community of Cresson, which includes the parishes of Saint Aloysius and Saint Francis Xavier, was planning to present the international exhibition The Eucharistic Miracles of the World, created and designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis, April 27-30 at Saint Aloysius. Other festivities, including a concert and talk, were also scheduled, but have been postponed.

Acutis was a British-born Italian known for his devotion to the Eucharist. He died from leukemia at age 15.
