Evening 3: Jesus’ Humility

Join us on this Lenten spiritual journey as we walk closely alongside the man — Jesus of Nazareth. We will reflect on Jesus’ radical choices, consider why He made them, and we will learn from Him how to discern which paths to choose on our personal journeys towards authentic discipleship. Each evening will include powerful talks, images, videos, and music for reflection. Practical tools will be offered to help us to choose what better leads to a deepening of God’s life in us.

Currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Fordham University, Nina Marie Corona possesses a Master of Arts in Christian Spirituality from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts from Muhlenberg College. Nina is the author of When on Earth: Discovering Christian Spirituality in the Daily Happenings of Ordinary Life (a book of reflections and illustrations) and Clear Bear (a children’s picture book). Nina is also the founder of We Thirst Ministries and the creator of the popular DVD series, We Thirst (Christian Reflections on Addiction). in Nina resides in a rural area outside of Quakertown, Pennsylvania with her husband Mark and has two adult daughters and two grandsons.

The Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto, will hold the annual  Lenten Mission in Honor of Our Lady of Loretto, March 27-April 1, 2022.  Very Reverend Father Joseph Sioli, Regional Vicar, Diocese of Pittsburgh, is the Mission Director. The Mission opens Sunday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. with prayers, homily and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, Bishop Mark Bartchak presiding. Mass with mission prayers and homily will be offered at 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Confessions are offered at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Eucharistic Adoration offered at 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.  Prayer intentions may be sent to: Father John D. Byrnes, Rector, P.O. Shroud Talks
Saint Peter Parish in Somerset

The Shroud of Turin Talk will be coming to Saint Peter Catholic Church, 433 W. Church Strett, Somerset, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

In 2013, Bill Wingard established Shroud Talks to present the history and science of the Shroud of Turin and tackle the biggest mystery: Is the Shroud the actual burial cloth of Jesus?

You are invited to hear the talk and see the full-size replica of the Shroud of Turin. Attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras.
