Bishop Mark will ordain two men to the Permanent Diaconate on June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona. All are welcome.
Allan Duman is a member of Saint Mary Parish in Hollidaysburg where he is an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, a Lector, and a Catechist. He is employed as a state corrections officer.
Jerome Nevling belongs to Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Philipsburg. His service in that faith community includes Lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Religious Education instructor, and parish council. He is a Magisterial District Judge.
