Bishop to Gather with Brother Knights of Columbus for Annual Celebration

Bishop Mark is getting ready to join his brother Knights of Columbus in celebrating the spirituality and contributions of the fraternal organization in the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown.

The Bishop will celebrate the annual Mass for the Knights on October 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel in Loretto.

The Exemplification for candidate Knights will take place immediately after the Mass. Knights who have only received the First or Second Degree are also eligible to take part in the ceremony.  Pre-registration is required for Exemplification by contacting Dennis Marince at (814) 761-3134 or

A social and dinner will follow at the Our Lady of Loretto Community Hall, adjacent to the Basilica. The cost is $15 per person. Reservations are required. Please contact William Stasko at (814) 255-6512.
