Beloved Dyngus Day Celebration Returning to Somerset County Parish

346

Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish in Central City and its Pastor, Father Aron Maghsoudi, will once again host what’s billed as the biggest and best Polish-American party in, at least, Somerset County.

The Polish day of merriment returns on Saturday April 6 from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Doors (and Bar) open at 5:30 p.m., music and games of chance begin at 6:00 p.m.
The event includes an all-you-can-eat ethnic buffet including HOMEMADE pierogi, haluski, halupki, kolbassi, and sauerkraut, and cookie table (NO frozen or factory made pierogi, no store-bought kolbasi, no cheater noodles used for haluski).
Additionally Dyngus Day includes all of your pivo/piwo/beer, as well as many games of chance (meat raffle, rip off tickets, basket raffles, contests, and other favorites from years past).
Polka music provided by Lil’ John Nalevanko and the ATM Band.
Still, after all these years tickets are only $25.00 per person, and all proceeds benefit Queen of Angels Parish religious education trips.
Tickets go on sale February 15. For tickets our questions, please call the parish office at 814-754-5224.

Holy Mass will be celebrated (with Polish Hymns) at 4:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church (next to the hall). All are welcome to this ethnic extravaganza.
