An Advent tradition continues at an Altoona parish.
The Family Life Committee at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish sponsored a giving tree over the first three weekends of Advent.
Parishioners were invited to hang children’s hats, scarves, socks, gloves, and mittens on the tree. The items are then donated to local service agencies to give to those in need.
