Dynamic Catholic performer Joe Melendrez will inspire young people with a live concert as part as one of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown’s biggest youth events of the year.
Senior High Youth Conference, or SHYCON, will be held on October 19 at Saint Francis University in Loretto.
Sponsored by the diocese’s Office of Youth Ministry, the event is open to all Catholic students in grades 9-12.
Besides the Melendrez concert, SHYCON 2025 will include Mass with Bishop Mark, keynote addresses, a service project, lunch, and free giveaways.
