Senior students at Bishop McCort Catholic High School in Johnstown took part in the “Livin on a Prayer” Church Tour on April 12.

The stops included a visit to Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown and time with Cathedral Rector, the Very Reverend Matthew Baum.

Other stops included Saint John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church, and Beth Sholom Synagogue.

The “Livin on a Prayer” Tour is an excellent opportunity for Bishop McCort students to learn more about their faith and the religious ceremonies and traditions that abound in this multi-cultural area,” explained McCort Principal/CAO Tom Smith.
