Johnstown Parish Planning Fall Spiritual Gatherings

Save the date for two spiritual opportunities this fall at Saint Benedict Parish in Johnstown.

Join award-winning author and speaker, Liz Kelly for a women’s day of reflection based on her book Jesus Approaches – What Today’s Woman Can Learn about Healing, Freedom and Joy from the Women of the New Testament. 

The day of reflection will be on September 30 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Saint Benedict. The experience will include Mass, Adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and fellowship. Lunch and refreshments will be served. There is no cost, but a love offering will be taken. Please RSVP.

Saint Benedict will also host a three-day parish mission in the fall. Renewed in the Eucharist will occur October 22-24 at 7:00 p.m. each night.

October 24—Sent as Disciples

The preacher will be Father Frank DeSiano, who was ordained a Paulist Priest in 1972. He had led parish missions and renewals throughout the United States, and he frequently presents to priests, deacons, and diocesan leaders. He has authored many books and articles and is now President of Paulist Evangelization Ministries.
