An individual who recently attended Mass at a Blair County parish has tested positive for COVID-19.
The person attended the 5:00 p.m. Mass on November 28 at Saint Michael the Archangel Parish in Hollidaysburg. The church has undergone multiple sanitizations since that time.
Bishop Mark Bartchak continues to direct all clergy and faithful to wear masks and practice physical distancing at all Masses and other church activities. The obligation to attend Sunday and Holy Day Masses remains waived by the Bishop until further notice. Those who are sick or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to not attend Mass.
The diocese offers prayers for the individual who tested positive and for everyone affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
