The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown Office of Vocations is hosting two Loggia Nights in Loretto.
Loggia Night is an evening of brotherhood, prayer, and great food for Catholic men ages 18 and older.
The upcoming events are scheduled for July 13 and August 10.
The evenings will kick off with the outdoor Mass at the Our Lady of the Alleghenies Shrine at 7:00 p.m. followed by a casual dinner on the loggia (Italian for porch) of the Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel rectory.
The loggia gatherings are a relaxed opportunity for guys to connect with other Catholic men and talk about life, faith, and where God might be calling them.
Among the priests who will be in attendance are the Very Reverend Alan Thomas, VG, Pastor of Saint Mary and Saint Michael Parishes in Hollidaysburg; the Very Reverend John Byrnes, JCL, JV, Rector of the Basilica; Father Peter Crowe, Pastor of Saint Andrew Parish in Johnstown and Diocesan Director of Vocations; and Father Brian Norris, Pastor of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish in Altoona and Diocesan Vocations Recruiter.
