The Discalced Carmelite Nuns invite everyone to share in the Annual Solemn Novena in honor of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. The Novena begins on Wednesday, September 23 and ends on the Saint’s Feast Day, Thursday, October 1. While the Nuns will still hold the Novena, unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the small size of their chapel, no public services will take place. Instead, nine talks will be offered by one of the faithful Discalced Carmelite Friars: Father Michael-Joseph of Saint Therese, OCD, and made available during the Novena on the Nuns’ website: lorettocarmel.org. There will also be a video of the Nuns praying the Novena prayers, so all can still join in gaining the blessings of the Novena.
