From Bishop McCort Catholic High School
The Bishop McCort Crimson Crushers have named Angela Wachs as the Head Coach of the Lady Crushers Volleyball program.
Erika Strittmatter, Bishop McCort Athletic Director, says, “Angela will bring an abundance of energy and knowledge to the well-established volleyball program at McCort. She is ready to hit the ground running to prepare for next year’s season.”
Mrs. Wachs comes to McCort with over 30 years of volleyball experience at all levels of play.
A standout player in high school, she continued her athletic career at Mount Aloysius College.
During high school, she participated with the Greater Johnstown Volleyball Club.
In addition to her experience as a player, she brings six years of high school coaching experience to Bishop McCort.
“I am so excited to begin collaborating with these athletes,” Coach Wachs said. “This is an amazing opportunity. I look to build from the solid foundation that exists and produce a consistently successful volleyball team.”
