Prince of Peace Parish in Northern Cambria will host a parish mission and Confirmation retreat on October 21 and 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each evening.
The format each night will be a one-hour talk given by Deacon Rick Messina, who is in diaconal ministry at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral and Saint Patrick Parishes in Johnstown, followed by one hour of adoration.
Confessions will be available during adoration.
Deacon Rick will talk about his personal journey in faith and his path to become a permanent deacon in our diocese.
This mission-retreat is open to anyone interested and is a perfect opportunity for Confirmation students to fulfill the requirement for retreats (discipleship events).
There will be a sign-in sheet available for all confirmation students and your pastor will be notified of your attendance.
