A woman with local roots has reached a joyous milestone with her religious community.
A Mass of Perpetual Profession was celebrated on August 6, 2022, the Feast of the Transfiguration, for Sister Caroline Caritas, SV, and three other sisters who are members of the religious community the Sisters of Life.
That Mass of Perpetual Profession was celebrated by Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, at Saint Patrick Cathedral in New York.
Sister Caroline Caritas is the former Kelsey Ingold. She grew up as a member of Saint Francis Xavier Parish in Cresson. She is the daughter of Tracey Ingold and the late Anthony Ingold.
