‘Tis the season for a little Christmas frivolity.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown participated in the Spirit of Christmas parade in Altoona on December 2. It was an opportunity for the agency to spread awareness of its vital ministry in the area.
Catholic Charities supports individuals and families of all faith traditions through counseling and emergency financial assistance throughout the year.
The parade, a tradition in Altoona, included a tree lighting at Heritage Plaza and fireworks.
