Bishop Mark is permitting parishes to sponsor fish lunches/dinners this Lent, but only in the format of take-out service. There is to be no indoor dining, according to his directives, and anyone who assists in food preparation and serving must be screened by temperature check. All workers must wear masks and gloves and practice physical distancing. Patrons should not enter the building to place their order or to receive their order, the Bishop added. Arrangements should be made for this to occur outdoors
The following is a summary of fish lunches/dinners and other take-out food sales planned throughout the diocese.
ALTOONA DEANERY
Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona
– Drive- Thru Fish Lunch
– Ash Wednesday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and Fridays, except Good Friday, 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
– Cost: $9
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Altoona
– No Ash Wednesday Fish Fry this year due to COVID-19
Our Lady of Lourdes, Altoona
– No Fish Fry this year this year due to COVID-19
St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Altoona
– Curbside takeout only, phone or curbside orders
– Fridays 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (or until sold out)
– Cost: $10
JOHNSTOWN DEANERY
St. Benedict, Johnstown
– No Fish Fry this year due to COVID-19
NORTHERN DEANERY
Holy Spirit, Lock Haven
– Drive Thru for 4 – 6 pm
Our Lady of Victory, State College
– Pierogi Sale, Drive – Thru in front of Parish Activity Center
– Fridays during Lent except Good Friday 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM

St. John the Evangelist, Bellefonte
– Fish Fry, Take- Out only at St. John’s School

PRINCE GALLITZIN DEANERY
