The Discalced Carmelite Nuns invite everyone to share in their Annual Solemn Novena in honor of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. The Novena, which will be live this year, begins on Thursday, September 23rd and ends on the Saint’s Feast Day, Friday, October 1st.
Our Novena will be preached by Father Cassidy Stinson. Father Stinson is a priest of the Diocese of Richmond and serves as parochial vicar at Saint Bede Parish in Williamsburg, Virginia. Father Stinson, along with his family, is a convert to Catholicism and was ordained in 2019 as a graduate of Theological College at the Catholic University of America. He was received into the Catholic Church in his home parish under the patronage of Saint Therese of Lisieux and has remained an enthusiastic student of her spirituality ever since.
