The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown is pleased to welcome a new diocesan seminarian.
John Roy, a member of Saint Andrew Parish in Johnstown, will enter Saint Vincent Seminary in Latrobe in the fall.
Roy is the son of Roger and Terri Roy, also members of Saint Andrew.
He graduated from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, where he studied Math and Philosophy.
Roy is one of six seminarians for the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, all in various stages of formation.
