Bishop Mark and the Family Life Office of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown cordially invite all couples celebrating one, five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, or 60+ years of marriage in 2023, and their families, to the annual Wedding Anniversary Liturgy.
Couples may attend on Sunday, September 10 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona or on Sunday, September 17 at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown. Both locations are handicap accessible.
Liturgies at each location will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Bishop Mark will be the celebrant and homilist at both Masses.
All are welcome at the liturgies, but in order to be formally acknowledged during the Masses, anniversary couples must register through their parish by August 29.
A light reception will be held after the Masses for anniversary couples and their families.
