Various parish faith communities are offering spiritual pilgrimage opportunities in the coming months.

ROME

Join Our Lady of the Alleghenies Parish in Lilly for a Jubilee Pilgrimage to Rome October 10-17, 2025, through the Catholic company 206 Tours.

The pilgrimage will include visits to the four major basilicas of Rome and Vatican City State and a Papal Audience.

There will also be a day visiting some of the more popular ancient sites of Rome.

FATIMA/LOURDES/BARCELONA

Join Father David Peles and Deacon Michael Russo of Saint Benedict Parish in Johnstown on a spiritual journey to two of the most important Marian shrines in Catholicism from April 13-22, 2026.

The pilgrimage will focus on the apparitions of our Blessed Mother at each location.

Pilgrims will travel through the Pyrenees on our way to Fatima, Portugal, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children in 1917, and Lourdes, France, where she appeared to Saint Bernadette Soubirous 18 times in 1858.

Travelers will have the opportunity to join in the candlelight procession and explore other significant religious sites, including the homes of the visionaries, churches, and historical landmarks.

Included in the pilgrimage is a visit to Spain and the Gothic cathedral, which is a pilgrimage church on the Camino de Santiago.

The cost of the pilgrimage is $5,296 based on double occupancy and includes airfare, first-class hotels, breakfast, and dinner daily, deluxe motor coaches, entrance fees, taxes, tips, and fees. Not included is lunch and a love offering for the driver and guide.

POLAND/SLOVAKIA

Join Father Jozef Kovacik and Deacon Jack Orlandi of Good Shepherd Parish in Port Matilda for a tour Father Jozef’s homeland and hometown in Slovakia June 30-July 13, 2026.

The pilgrimage includes time in Bratislava, Levoca, Kosice, and Father Jozef’s hometown Brezno where we have Mass in his home parish.

 While in Poland, pilgrims will visit sites where Saint Pope John II spent time.

Other highlights include visits to the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, the monastery where Saint Maximilian Kolbe initiated the “City of the Immaculate Mother of God, the Shrine of Divine Mercy,” Saint Faustina’s convent chapel, and her tomb and much more.

Pilgrims will also visit underground Wieliczka Salt Mines and Auschwitz.
