A Blair County parish is celebrating the 107th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun and Mary’s appearance to three children in Fatima.
On October 13, the usual 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses will be celebrated inside the Saint Catherine of Siena Parish church in Duncansville.
Special opportunities will be added that day in observance of the anniversary.
Eucharistic Adoration will be held at the outdoor Fatima Shrine behind the church beginning at 9:00 a.m., and a continuous Rosary will be prayed beginning at 9:20 a.m.
There will be Benediction at 10:40 a.m. and a procession back to the church for the 11:00 a.m. Mass.
If there is inclement weather, all of the observances between the two Masses will happen inside the church.
