On the anniversary of September 11, the McCort-Carroll Crushers and Richland Rams football teams will come together, not just as opponents on the field, but as united communities committed to honoring the legacy of those lost on September 11, 2001.

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Sargent’s Stadium at the Point, with kickoff at 7:00 p.m., the Crushers and Rams will hit the gridiron for their annual rivalry game but unified in the spirit of competition and remembrance.

With the Flight 93 National Memorial located just 20 miles away, this day holds deep meaning for both schools.

The game will serve as a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and alliance shown by Americans and the heroic actions of the passengers of American Airlines Flight 93.

Don’t miss this special THURSDAY night of football as two teams stand together in commemoration.

Before kickoff, both teams will participate in a special tribute to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who served, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

Teams will enter this contest remembering the words of President George W. Bush, “They looked evil in the eye and did not flinch,” and Todd Beamer, Flight 93 passenger, “Are you guys ready? Let’s Roll.”
