From the Discalced Carmelite Nuns
The Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Loretto invite everyone to take part in the Novena for the July 16 Memorial of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It will begin on Friday, July 8 and end on Saturday, July 16.
After Vespers during these days, the nuns will recite special novena prayers for all the petitions that have been recommended to them, asking for the powerful intercession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and her daughter Saint Therese of the Child Jesus of the Holy Face.
Those who desire to share in the graces and blessings of these spiritual exercises, and in the private prayers of the Carmelite nuns, may send their petitions to Mother Prioress, Carmelite Monastery, P.O. Box 57, Loretto, PA 15940.
Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament takes place every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Monastery. All are invited and welcome to attend.
