In celebration of Catholic Schools Week 2021, the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown is spotlighting families that boast multiple generations of Catholic education.
SAINT PETER SCHOOL
Jody & Melissa Jano statement:
(Jody graduated from Saint Peter School in 1978. He and his wife have children all of whom graduated from Saint Peter School)
“Catholic education is important to us and our family because it carries on our Catholic faith through the generations. It also makes our faith an everyday part of life as it should be.”
Molly Zerfoss statement:
(Molly graduated from Saint Peter School in 2001. Her two daughters presently attend Saint Peter School)
“Catholic education is important to me and my family because it is a good foundation for children to grow from their entire lives. We use it every day as it guides our lives in everything we do, how we treat other in our work and all we do.”
Kasey Zerfoss statement:
(Kasey is a fourth grade student at Saint Peter School)
“I like St. Peter School because we go to Mass and receive the Body of Jesus. It is just beautiful. There are wonderful teachers and I am so thankful for them. I have wonderful friends that are always there for me too.”
Aubrey Zerfoss statement:
(Aubrey is a first grade student at Saint Peter School)
“I like St. Peter School because we go to Mass and pray to Jesus. We learn about the Saints also.”
