Bishop Mark announced the following clergy appointments on September 10, 2025. They are effective on October 1, 2025.
REVEREND MATTHEW T. LAFFEY, OSB, with the approval of his Archabbot, appointed Pastor of Queen of Archangels Parish in Clarence.
REVEREND MICHAEL A. WOLFE, appointed Pastor of Saints Philip and James Parish in Meyersdale, Saint Gregory Parish in MacDonaldton, Saint Mary Parish in Pocahontas, and Saint Michael Parish in West Salisbury.
Father Stephen Shin, OFM Cap., who is currently the Pastor of Saints Philip and James and Saint Gregory, will be moving outside of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown for his next assignment with the Capuchin community and will no longer be in service to Altoona-Johnstown.
Deacon William Underhill has retired as Administrator of the parishes in Pocahontas and West Salisbury.
