The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown is pleased to announce the ordination of Deacon Justin Treon to the priesthood on May 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona.
Deacon Treon is a member of Saint Aloysius Parish in Cresson, and he is completing his priestly education and formation at Saint Vincent Seminary in Latrobe.
On weekends, he is in diaconal service at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown and Saint Patrick Parish in Johnstown.
Also, Bishop Mark will ordain three men to the permanent diaconate.
Nelson Lowes and Richard Messina, both members of Our Mother of Sorrows Parish in Johnstown, and Charles Williams of Holy Spirit Parish in Lock Haven will be ordained on June 3 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
Please pray for Deacon Treon and Mr. Lowes, Mr. Messina, and Mr. Williams in these final weeks of their formation journey.
