From Bishop McCort Catholic High School
The Bishop McCort Catholic High School Board of Trustees unanimously voted for a contract extension for Principal and Chief Administrative Officer Thomas A. Smith to continue through the 2029 academic year.
Smith assumed the role of Principal/CAO at Bishop McCort in 2019. Under his leadership, the school has transitioned to an Innovative Learning Schedule, which features a four-day school week with optional enrichment programming and tutoring.
In November, Bishop McCort announced the opening of the newly renovated Toyota Media Center, a technology based learning environment.
Smith has been instrumental in leading Bishop McCort to maintain financial stability and enrollment growth.
“I am thankful and excited to continue at Bishop McCort, and I look forward with enthusiasm to the next five years,” Smith said.
