From Bishop McCort Catholic High School
The Board of Trustees and Administration of Bishop McCort Catholic High School and Divine Mercy Catholic Academy have been working toward the unification of Catholic schools in the Johnstown area.
Part of that strategy is a commitment to streamline and strengthen the branding of our schools. As a result, the Board of Trustees has approved a systemwide branding initiative.
The Johnstown area Catholic schools will now be known systemwide as Bishop
McCort Catholic Academy.
Divine Mercy Catholic Academy will be known as Bishop McCort Catholic Elementary (East and West Campuses). Bishop McCort Catholic High School will remain as such.
This is the first major step in the process to unify our private Catholic schools.
Although the name change has gone into effect, there will be gradual adaptation with regards to the transition.
