Parish choirs are busy preparing to celebrate Advent and Christmas in song.
Various musical extravaganzas are happening in the coming days, including the annual Advent concert at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown on Saturday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m. featuring the Greater Johnstown Diocesan Festival choir and the Divine Mercy Catholic Academy Chorale.
On December 29 at 6:00 p.m. – a night of music at the Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel in Loretto featuring the Saint Michael School choir singing Christmas favorites and the Basilica adult choir performing the cantata “The Road to Bethlehem.”
