Our Lady of Victory Catholic School in State College celebrated its annual OLV Day on October 7.

As always, the day-long celebration began with Mass, after students and faculty engaged in a variety of Christian service activities including:

Kindergarten – Thank Yous for our bus drivers
1st Grade – Thank Yous for Police and Firefighters & Gifts for A Soldier’s Hands
2nd Grade – Cleaned the Church
3rd Grade – Paper Wreaths for Soldiers
4th Grade – Onesies and donations for The Gabriel Project
5th Grade – Care Packages for Veterans
Middle School – Jared Boxes for The Meadows

After lunch, the annual OLV Walk-A-Thon took place. Parents, faculty, students, and staff joined together to walk/run a marked route around the school and its neighborhood. This is OLVCS’s only school-wide fundraiser through which the school seeks to raise funds for important school-wide and classroom-specific endeavors.
