McCort Commencement Planned for Silver Drive-In

The 95th Commencement Ceremony for Bishop McCort Catholic High School graduating seniors will be held Wednesday, May 27th at 8:30pm at the Silver Drive-In on Scalp Avenue.  Graduates will be given special Bishop McCort masks and will be the only individuals outside of their cars at determined times, socially distanced, observing all guidelines.  Graduates and their guests will experience some pre-recorded elements of the graduation as well as being able to participate in a live procession.  All aspects of the ceremony will be shown on the big screen for all attendees.
Thomas Smith, McCort Principal/CAO states, “Our graduation committee has worked many long hours in planning this event to assure that Bishop McCort students experience as much normalcy as possible for their high school graduation while still adhering to the guidelines set by Governor Wolf.”  In addition to the ceremony, the students will be treated to a few “surprises” sure to make this a memorable evening!
