A Cambria County faith community is getting ready for a late-summer tradition.
The Catholic Community of Cresson – comprised of Saint Aloysius and Saint Francis Xavier Parishes and All Saints Catholic School – will sponsor its annual festival September 10 and 11 at Saint Aloysius.
The hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, with musical entertainment from Felix and the Hurricanes from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
On Sunday, the hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Highlights that day include a ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks at 12:15 p.m.; Charlene’s School of Dance at 1:00 p.m.; and Rosie and the Jammers performing from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Other festival offerings include the legendary food and a beer tent. Also, hayrides, a basket raffle, rummage sale, games of chance and more.
