As always, Bishop Mark Bartchak will celebrate Christmas Masses at both historic diocesan Cathedrals, to which the faithful are invited to attend in person or experience on local television or radio.
The Bishop will celebrate Mass on Christmas Eve, December 24, at 5:00 p.m. at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown. That Mass will be broadcast live on WATM ABC 23.
Bishop Bartchak will celebrate Midnight Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona, which will air live on radio station POP 104.5 FM and 1290 AM.
Midnight Masses at two other Blair County parishes will also be broadcast live on the radio. The Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Altoona will air on WRTA 98.5 FM and 1240 AM. Mass at Saint Matthew Parish in Tyrone can be heard on WTRN 96.9 FM and 100.7 FM.
