Catholic Charities Launches Annual Spring-Cleaning Product Drive

141

“As the earth brings forth its shoots and a garden makes its seeds spring up, So will the Lord GOD make justice spring up, and praise before all the nations.”  –Isaiah 61:11

No one can argue that our region has some of the most beautiful landscapes and with each season God’s blessings surround us with blooming daffodils, buds on trees, and the chirping of birds. Spring brings so many good things that many of us take advantage of, such as the ability to purchase items and have shelter.

Catholic Charities and the Martha and Mary House will be collecting items to share with those living within our diocese that have limited resources for cleaning supplies, personal items, and miscellaneous items that shield the homeless from the seasonal rain showers.

We encourage churches, schools, and parish ministries to participate in this spring drive to assist those in need. Please find a flyer that includes suggested items and an information sheet to return to Lisa Fellabaum, Outreach Coordinator for Catholic Charities.
